I found a great site where the author is sharing how we should protect ourselves from hackers when it comes to password. This article may just be one of the most important piece you've ever read. You can read it more here.
But if you don't really have the time to read, please make sure your password strength is at its best by using Microsoft Password Checker. I believe, that's really the least we can do if we are lazy.

The easiest (and safest) thing to do if you're lazy is to go here: https://www.passpack.com
and sign up for an account (it's free).
Fill in your passwords, and afterwards you can just forget them. When you need something - just look it up and go.
